ReplyDeleteIn A Mango Shaped Space their is Mia, a nice, fun girl, who has synesthesia, but hides it from her family. Synesthesia is a mix of the senses, different for everyone who has it. It is rare, one in every 1,000 people have it. Since third grade she knows she must hide it, but with troubles in middle school she finds learning even harder. All her letters are different colors, making it hard to read, she gets a tutor and soon realizes that she needs to tell her parents. After going to many different doctors they finally find one who knows what she has. She finds other people on a website who has what she has and goes to a support group with others ho have it. Mia learns how to cope with what she has and excepts herself for who she is. This story is so amazing and well written, Wendy Mass has done it again!
My favorite book is of adventure and suspence animal and their humans fight to protect thier home , Edras.Melin,Abeke,Rollan and Conner will learn what it takes to fight and to be heros . Briggan,Uraza,Jhi and essix will have to learn to work with once ordinary to extrordaniry 10 year olds in " spirit animals , wild born " book one .
ReplyDeleteThe book that I am reading is called the Hunger games by Suzanne Collins. In the ruins of North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol with 12 districts surrounding it. The Capitol is harsh and cruel by forcing one girl and one boy from ages 12 to 18 to compete in the annual Hunger games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen form district 12 takes her sisters place after she has been called up for the Hunger games. But she is a hunter and very good with one weapon, but can she survive the Hunger games?
ReplyDeleteAmong the many fantasy books I've read, Sisters Grimm is definitely one of the best most detailed stories I have ever read. Sabrina Grimm is an average twelve year old girl that wants to live a happy normal life with her parents and younger sister Daphene in New York City. Unfortunately this will probably not be happening soon, as her parents had mysteriously disappeared about one year ago. The girls were sent to an orphanage and bounced around in many different horrible foster homes. Until a woman claiming to be the girl's grandmother takes them in. Sabrina is skeptical about the woman's identity, because their Father claimed she was dead. Soon the girls find out that she really is their Grandmother and that they are the descendants of the brothers Grimm. In Ferry Port Landing, fairy tale characters are real. Sisters Grimm is a funny action packed book sure to make you wanting more.
ReplyDeleteOne of the books I am reading now is a Nancy Drew book called The Mystery at Lilac Inn. In this book many strange and Mysterious things are happening to the inn and on it grounds. One mysterious thing is the food server ,her name is Jean and she is acting super suspicious. Nancy Drew soon is wrapping up the case more and more to know what happens read this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
